In curlicues and flecks
The scrolling sun reflects

Across the wall in Sanskrit
Gleaming, illuminated script,

Scrawling with a molten tool
Alphabets from the swimming pool,

Dripping with its shaking hands
Sunlight which the day expands

From oscillating liquid carats
To incandescent spritz,

And the light show ranges
From flares to quantum energy exchanges,

Angled strokes like atom traces
Translated from the water’s faces,

Remotely, summer on a screen:
Fireworks in quarantine.
