To The Ocean Light

Before we mail these rising prayers
Which the summer light encases,
Let’s improvise some lazy airs
With the camera’s photogenic graces,

Where the sun’s resurgence raises
The world’s many tides—
The overflowing blazes
Which your entire life provides.
