To The Summer Light

Before we mail these cyber prayers
Which the summer light erases,
Let’s immortalize some lazy airs
On the camera’s postcard places—
From our sunset’s wild oasis
To your ocean’s many tides,
While your birthday mirror blazes
And the incandescent world glides.
