Bloomsday Film Festival panel and screening

We're thrilled to announce an exciting event for Dublin poetry fans: the Bloomsbury Film Festival will be featuring a free panel, screening, and Q&A with the Adrian Brinkerhoff Poetry Foundation!

Join us on Monday, June 13th at 11am at the James Joyce Centre's Volta Room for a screening of nine choice poem films. The films represent a range of outstanding poems performed by prominent actors and poets of the US, UK, and Ireland. They've been curated from across our international film series produced with Poetry Ireland, Druid, the 92nd Street Y's Unterberg Poetry Center, and Poet in the City.

The screening will be followed by a discussion and audience Q&A with three Brinkerhoff collaborators: Irish filmmaker Matthew Thompson, ABPF Editor & Digital Communications Manager Amanda Glassman, and Cuban-American filmmaker and producer Eric Felipe-Barkin. We can't wait to see you there!

Four of our films selected for the full Festival program will also appear that day, in the two Poetry and Literature Shorts Programmes on June 13th at 1pm and 3:30 pm in the Volta Room. And a further Brinkerhoff surprise awaits attendees of the 7pm screening of Keith Walsh's Yeatsian feature, When All is Ruin Once Again.
